He currently coordinates the emergency department and ultrasound-guided critical procedures at the Antioquia Oncology Center (COA) , where his innovative approach to using ultrasound as a diagnostic tool has positioned him as a national and international leader in emergency medicine. He also leads medical training programs as the coordinator of WINFOCUS Colombia , educating new professionals in the use of cutting-edge technologies in critical care.
During the pandemic, he co-founded the Antioquia Intensivists Group , where he promoted the creation of care protocols and protective measures for healthcare personnel, demonstrating unquestionable ethics and empathetic leadership in times of crisis.
